Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager in the hotel hospitality industry is responsible for driving revenue growth through corporate sales and door-to-door marketing strategies. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, and developing marketing initiatives to promote the hotelโ€™s services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to secure new corporate accounts and maintain relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify potential corporate clients and conduct thorough market research to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Create tailored proposals and presentations to pitch the hotelโ€™s services to corporate clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop promotional packages and offers for corporate clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Visit local businesses, offices, and other establishments to promote the hotelโ€™s services and special offers.
  • Collect feedback from potential customers and report insights to the marketing team for strategy adjustments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Provide input on budget planning and allocation for corporate sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with the hotelโ€™s operations, marketing, and front office teams to ensure seamless service delivery to corporate clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including corporate sales and marketing strategies.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel locally for door-to-door marketing and client meetings.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business.
